Abstract

Development of a PLA (Poly-lactic acid) biocomposite reinforced with cellulose nanofiber, a material from a renewable source, to replace plastics of fossil origin. The new Biocomposite Nanomaterials developed will be used in the manufacture of biodegradable agricultural devices such as: Bovine Embryo Transfer Sheath (TE Sheath), intravaginal device for bovine heat synchronization (IVD).
