Abstract
In order to minimize impacts arising from the frequent instability of the electrical network that feeds the Laboratory Center of the School of Science and Engineering (SSE/Unesp), Tupã campus, this proposal aims to acquire and install a diesel electrical energy generator for the continuous maintenance of the laboratories' electrical network. This is a fundamental action, since today there is equipment, both for teaching and research use, that requires continuous electrical power, such as the Mass Spectrometer, which has a vacuum chamber in which its pump needs to run continuously. Furthermore, SSE/Unesp Tupã professors use laboratory spaces to carry out their academic research, which makes use of electronic equipment that, in the event of a power outage, can severely harm not only the experiment, but also the equipment. acquired, generating undesirable losses. Therefore, the acquisition of this generator will be of great value, since, in the event of apossible interruption of electricity services, the equipment that will be purchased willhave the necessary power to continuously maintain electricity in all laboratories in theCentral building of Laboratories, which will bring peace of mind and greater security toall researchers and equipment involved in this location.
