Abstract

The proposal consists of developing a low-cost business model that applies the Internet of Things (IoT) to fungiculture, targeting mushroom producers and family farmers who seek to diversify their production. The solution will be a system that combines hardware components (sensors and controllers) and software (database and information processing) for the collection, analysis and automated control of environmental conditions that influence production, namely: temperature, humidity, luminosity and carbon dioxide level. The system will be modular, powered by batteries and/or photovoltaic panels, which would allow the technology to be implemented in different production contexts. The objective of the system is to increase the efficiency and accuracy of fungus cultivation, making automated adjustments to the process and generating data-based information to drive decisions related to production and the customer's business.
