Abstract

Cars for fieldwork and repair of equipments:The itens requested include two Pick-up for fieldwork and funds for maintenance of the da meteorological Tower of IAG.Two Pick-up are needed for fieldwork in Applied Geophysics, in their studies of exploration of mineral resources. Some examples are: silting of rivers and lakes in the Pantanal basin at Mato Grosso (Coxim-MT); studies of arqueologicalsubaquatic sites at the baixada Maranhense(Santa Helena-MA); geophysical investigations of the exploration of natural resources such as barite ore (Tunas do Paraná-PR); exploration of industrial sand (Leme-SP) and exploration of marmore(Campos de Jordão-SP), hydrogeological studies at Extrema-MG and at Guarapuava-PR, among others.The item maintenance of meteorological Tower of IAG refers to the fact that in the last 20 years the measurements are carried out with automatic stations, with no interruption, at the Parque Cientec.Differently from the conventional instruments, the sensors of the automatic stations require maintenance, calibration and more frequent exchange of pieces. The dismounting and remounting aimsat moving the Tower to the new place where there will be only the automatic instruments and sensors. (AU)
