Abstract

Our group has a strong and consolidated collaboration with the University Grenoble-Alpes, Grenoble-INP, in particular, with the SIMAP laboratory, of which Prof. Yannick Champion has been Director for the last 8 years. Due to Prof. Champion's recognized expertise in the area of development of metal alloys with refined microstructures, amorphous alloys, high entropy alloys and thermodynamics associated with various transformations and phenomena, we started a collaboration in 2018 that has developed in a very positive way, as attested, for example, by two doctoral theses in co-tutela that are currently under development with students from our group. In this context, the activities during the 01-month visit should be centered both on the doctoral projects in co-supervision, as well as on the projects of the students associated with the groups of the applicant and Prof. Guilherme Zepon and of Prof. Francisco Gil Coury, who also has an active collaboration with Prof. Champion.
