Abstract

The items described in this proposal aim to complement the training of students in undergraduate, master'sand doctorate from Universidade Federal Fluminense, as well as enabling collaboration between visiting researchers andpost-doctoral student, on topics related to Oil, Gas, Energy and Biofuels. They also aim togenerate applied research and promote the specialization of professionals to meet the demand of the sector throughthe application of resources from the Investment in Research and Development Clause provided for inconcession contracts.This project is justified based on the need for partnership between the productive sector and academia for theexpansion and strengthening of human resources aimed at technical, technological and management needsof the complex Oil, Gas, Energy and Biofuels industry.In this context, the UFF School of Engineering offers undergraduate courses with a surface layer for the Petroleum sector,Gas, Energy and Biofuels, comprising courses in Petroleum Engineering, Chemistry, and Mechanics withtotal of 235 annual vacancies for new entrants. It also offers stricto sensu postgraduate courses formaster's degree and/or doctorate in Mechanical Engineering with approximately 60 vacancies per year for freshmen inmaster's degree and 20 for doctoral students. It should be noted that the institution has an IGC (General Index ofCourses) of 3.51 and MEC concept greater than or equal to 3 for undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses indicated account with CAPES concept equal to 5 seconds of the latest evaluations.
