Abstract

Ceramic implants will be used and developed by IPEN and subjected to toxicity analysis, anatomic/histo/ultra-structural study of implants inserted in rabbit tibias in the surgical theatre of the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of São Paulo. These animals will be kept in the vivarium of the ICB/USP - Anatomy Department. The study of the architecture of the implant/bone interface will be carried out in the Histology Department of the University of Guarulhos and will be inserted in patients in the Hospital das Clínicas and in the Methodist University.
