Abstract

The Human Resources Program of the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (PRH-ANP) was implemented by this Agency in March 1999, in compliance with what was established in Law No. 9,478/1997 regarding the determination for the ANP to stimulate the research and adoption of new technologies in oil exploration, production, transportation, refining and processing. Within the scope of the ANP PRHs, PRH-9.1 aims to contribute to the generation and dissemination of scientific knowledge and applied technologies in disciplines related to Civil Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. PRH-9 is formed by researchers from the Civil Engineering Program of the Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research in Engineering (COPPE) and the Polytechnic School of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) who have academic work and carry out research for the Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels Sector, particularly in the areas of Exploration and Production, Ocean Structures, Offshore Production Systems, Subsea Engineering, among other topics.
