Abstract

he program PRH-ANP 34.1, registered at UNESP/FEG, at the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences of the Guaratinguetá Campus of the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Julio de Mesquita Filho", is entitled "Interdepartmental Human Resources Training Program with an emphasis on Exploration and Production of Oil and Natural Gas in Non-Conventional Resource Fields and Mature Fields (Efficiency of Exploratory Operation, Increase in the Recovery/Stimulation Factor, Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Environmental Impacts and Optimization", and focuses on study and research actions involving Petroleum, Natural Gas, Energy and Environmental Engineering. Currently awarded R$ 3,692,988.00 in scholarships and bench fees (5 Post-Doctorate scholarships; 5 Doctorate scholarships; 15 Master's scholarships; 40 Undergraduate scholarships; 1 Technical Support grant; 1 Visiting Researcher grant; and 1 Coordinator grant), the program has developed important and diversified research, in addition to publishing different works in national and international events, as well as in qualified journals in the different inherent areas related to the purpose of PRH 34.1. The current coordination is developed through Prof. Dr. Mauro Hugo Mathias, from the Department of Mechanics and the Engineering Postgraduate Program, composing together with Profs. Drs. João Andrade de Carvalho Jr., Edson Cocchieri Botelho, Teófilo Miguel de Souza and Andreas Nascimento the Management Committee of the program, which is responsible for the decisions and directions of the program, including administrative and financial issues.
