Abstract

PRH 48.1 "Characterization and Simulation of Reservoirs, Renewable Energy and Environmental Biotechnology", was approved by the ANP, in 2019, based on public call no. 01/2018/PRH-ANP. PRH 48.1's operations are based on the multidisciplinary approach and expertise of its researchers and students who develop projects in various areas of the oil and energy sector, including professors from the Departments of Nuclear Energy, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Geology of the Federal University of Pernambuco. The main areas of research of PRH 48.1 are: Biofuel; Environmental Biotechnology; Wind Energy; Solar energy; Petroleum Geology / Reservoir Characterization; Computational Methods in Geomechanics; Applied Numerical Simulation / Flows in Porous Media; X and Gamma Tomography Applied to Porous Media.
