Abstract

The Federal University of Pernambuco promotes improvement activities, continuous improvement and updating of teachers and classes, moving towards the creation of skills in areas of interest in the Oil, Gas, Biofuels and Renewable Energy sector, stimulating the training of professionals able to deal with with issues related to this sector and, consequently, contributes to reducing the lack of professionals trained in this field of knowledge and meeting its current and future demands. As a result, its Undergraduate and Postgraduate Program in Chemical Engineering is strengthened and consolidated in the line of research in Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy, with support from the Human Resources Training Program - PRH. Human resources from the PRH must be approached by public and private companies in the sector, and by various teaching and research institutions. The topics covered in the monographs, dissertations and theses will be proposed with a view to the needs of the sector and may contribute to technological development and/or study of solutions to a specific technical problem. The Emphases that must meet the objectives of the PRH are Transport, refining and processing of natural gas and biofuels and other renewable energies. (AU)
