Abstract

This program covers the areas of Exploration, Production, Processing, Refining and New Materials for the Oil, Gas, Biofuels and New Forms of Energy Industry, in order to contribute to energy generation with environmental sustainability, reducing costs throughout the production chain, through short, medium and long-term actions, presenting solutions in materials, processes and equipment. PRH12.1 encompasses the following courses at the Federal University of Paraná: undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering, the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (PIPE), the Postgraduate Program in Mechanical Engineering (PGMEC), the Postgraduate Program in Chemical Engineering (PPGEQ) and the Postgraduate Program in Geology (POSGEOL).
