Abstract

The project involves the structuring and commercial development of a catheter equipped with UV-C LEDs for the disinfection of walls and water in hemodialysis ducts, executed under process 2023/10908-1, aiming to introduce it to the market. The product resulting from PIPE Phase 2, to which this call is linked, targets clinics and hospitals with hemodialysis centers. Given the originality of the research project, it will be possible to file a patent application to ensure the commercial freedom of the technology, aiming at its insertion in both national and international markets. The commercialization of this new technology is projected to start in the state of São Paulo (SOM), expand to Brazil (SAM), and subsequently internationalize (TAM), where there is a global market of approximately 36,000 treatment centers and an annual revenue potential of about R$ 2.8 billion. To achieve this goal, this call will implement a commercial structuring divided into two major phases over an 18-month period:First Phase: This phase will focus on structuring and positioning the project in the market, aiming to better understand customer pain points, how competitors operate, and which marketing strategies would be most effective in ensuring the product's value generation in the target segment. This phase includes market research, competition analysis, regulatory analysis for the sector, and the structuring and implementation of CRM.Second Phase: Once market positioning is defined, this phase will focus on developing the technology dissemination strategy and activities for prospecting new partnerships and potential clients. This phase will include creating a sales funnel, paid traffic advertising, participation in events, and seeking key strategic partners.By the end of the project's duration, it is expected that the new technology will achieve a strong market position and latent demand. This commercial structuring should ensure the commercialization of the technology after the completion of its development. (AU)
