Abstract

The project aims to devise a Medical Device Tracker and Monitor to connect devices without internet connectivity, enabling identification, location, and data acquisition regarding their functioning. This will facilitate strategic decisions to improve operations and reduce costs. It stands out for integrating technologies such as the Medical Internet of Things (IoMT), precision sensors connected to the Internet, Software as a Service (SaaS), cloud infrastructure, and a centralized monitoring platform. The connectivity strategy encompasses various long-range communication infrastructures, such as Wi-Fi, cellular networks, GPS, and LoRaWAN, tailored to local needs. Flexible in managing indoor and outdoor assets, different types and brands of medical devices, and even complex environments, the design can be adapted to the user's demands with an affordable investment.
