Abstract

The library of the Institute of Language Studies, object of this proposal, is one of the most complete in the country in the field of linguistic and literary studies and is the main research infrastructure at the institute. Because of the high impact that the library has on the institute's research, the improvements to the infrastructure of videoconferencing for activities via remote interaction with researchers from international and national institutions, and air conditioning of collection areas are necessary to create and guarantee more favorable conditions for the development of research activities and scientific work, in addition to conserving bibliographic material and ensuring thermal comfort for faculty members, researchers and students who use this space to carry out their bibliographic research.
