Abstract

This research project explores non-classicality in the context of emerging quantum technologies. We will address four main theoretical problems that are linked to the challenges faced in the development and implementation of quantum technologies: decomposition of unitary operators for application in quantum circuits, characterization of entangled unsteerable states, the application of non-locality as a communication resource and non-classicality in quantum networks. Our goal is to deepen the understanding of quantum resources and develop tools that can be applied to the conception of new technologies. (AU)
