Abstract

This plan by Prof. Alejandro Grimson aims to contribute to the project "Crises of Democracy: Critical Theory and Current Diagnosis". Alejandro Grimson aims to contribute to the project "Crises of Democracy: Critical Theory and Current Diagnosis" and includes academic activities planned and organized with the NDD/CEBRAP: 1) Conducting semi-structured qualitative interviews to strengthen the broader objectives of the Thematic Project with the themes of political subjectivities;2) A conference on political emotions and the subjectivization of affections, aimed at understanding studies of the new right and the authoritarian right; 3) An internal workshop with members of the NDD/CEBRAP on comparative research between Brazil and Argentina; 4) A panel discussion on populism; 5) A workshop on the history of the right in Latin America up to the present day. The activity plan also includes attendance at the permanent meetings of the groups that make up Subproject II of the corresponding thematic project. (AU)
