Abstract

The equipment currently available at the multi-user center, Chromium Controller, has the limitation that it does not allow analysis of fixed cells, a feature that limits its use principally by external users, because it is not always possible to obtain fresh isolated cells that maintain a high percentage of viability during transportation. Therefore, we request an upgrade of equipment, the Chromium iX, which will allow us to overcome this process, as it will be possible to carry out analyzes of isolated cells fixed and stored frozen even after long periods.Multiomics analyzes allow for a better understanding of molecular features at the level of single cells. Thus, large-scale single-cell sequencing is appropriate for heterogeneous cell populations, such as drug screening or CRISPR, viral infections or different cellular conditions, as well as poorly characterized population systems, such as systems of new models or whole organs). This variety of applications, combined with the facility of isolated fixed cell approach, will allow for a range of uses to advance knowledge in several areas. (AU)
