Abstract

Living Out intends to offer a personalized treatment planning service for oncology patients through in vitro functional exams. Living Out's target market is healthcare operators with vertical network management and large oncology care groups and hospitals. Living Out's main challenge today is to simulate our entire workflow in a real environment, from collecting tumor samples to issuing the report to the oncologist. The proposed partnership with Hospital de Amor de Barretos will allow us to improve the logistics of transporting live tumor tissue from the operating room or colonoscopy to the laboratory, increasing flexibility and reducing costs in this process. Furthermore, validating the interpretation of the results with the clinical staff will help us identify patients for whom the exam brings more benefits, which increases the specification of the market we seek to reach and the value delivered by the service.
