Abstract

The simultaneous evaluation of several analytes, whether protein, genetic or genomic, has been important in basic or translational research studies, especially in oncology studies and those evaluating new therapies.The xMAP Intelliflex DR-SE Platform is capable of simultaneously measuring up to 500 analytes in the same sample and, therefore, identifying changes in several molecules simultaneously. Studies with this profile help to evaluate the effect of drugs/treatments on an entire cascade of molecules, in the interaction between several signaling pathways simultaneously. This optimizes the understanding of the mechanism and pathophysiology of a disease or the study of therapeutic targets.The acquisition of this platform for Medical School od Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo will be a major leap in technology and optimization of sample use for the entire scientific community in the region.
