Abstract

Echocardiography is an essential diagnostic tool in medicine cardiovascular, offering a detailed view of the structure and function of the heart. With the advancement of technology, echocardiogram systems such as the EPIQ CVx from Philipsbrought significant innovations to this field, raising the standard of care cardiac.One of the distinguishing features of EPIQ CVx is its ability to calculate automatically determines the cardiac strain, an important parameter for evaluating the deformation of cardiac tissue. This functionality is particularly valuable asallows faster and more accurate analysis, essential in environments with high volume ofpatients, as in public hospitals. Additionally, the EPIQ CVx is equipped with a advanced software that allows the calculation of right ventricular (RV) and atrium strain left (LA), offering a more comprehensive understanding of cardiac function.The Philips EPIQ CVx echocardiogram stands out as a powerful tool highly suitable for use in cardio-oncology, a medical field where assessmentPrecise cardiac function is of utmost importance.
