Abstract

Professor Gabriel Porcile's visit has as its main purpose the collaboration on Professor Carolina Baltar's research projects, with the objective of producing two research papers that incorporate the three dimensions of sustainable growth: economic, social, and environmental. The first paper focuses primarily on structural change and income distribution, while the second incorporates the environmental dimension into the model and the empirical analysis. Professor Gabriel Porcile is one of the most renowned researchers in the field of growth and income distribution, with an extensive theoretical and empirical contribution. The opportunity for research collaboration with Professor Carolina would be extremely enriching, as it would allow her to advance and consolidate her research focused on growth and distribution. Moreover, students and lecturers at the Institute of Economics at Unicamp will also benefit from Professor Porcile's visit, as he could engage with their work and present the latest developments in his current research.
