Abstract

The goal of this proposal is to train qualified higher education workers (undergraduate, master's and doctorate) for various industry demands (operators, service companies, engineering and consulting companies, etc.), in various areas and topics listed in Annex I of ANP Resolution no. 918/2023, as well as priority thematic lines of CNPE Resolutions no. 01/2021 and CNPE no. 08/2024 cited in Public Call Notice no. 01/PRH-ANP/2025. It involves training professionals at undergraduate level in Civil Engineering and Petroleum Engineering at the Polytechnic School of UFRJ, as well as Master's and Doctoral degrees in the Civil Engineering Program (PEC) at COPPE/UFRJ.The professors and researchers of the Civil Engineering Program (PEC) at COPPE/UFRJ, as well as the Civil Engineering and Petroleum Engineering courses at the Polytechnic School/UFRJ, have vast experience in meeting the demands of the O&G sector through human resources training, various RD&I projects and specific consultancies. The PEC's activities in the O&G sector began in 1977, playing a pioneering role in research, development and human resources training activities, and it is close to completing 48 years (almost half a century) of experience in the sector. This work has been recognized by the ANP: in the first PRH call (in March 1999) the PEC was selected to organize and increase its courses in the Oil and Gas area within the scope of the PRH 02 program, entitled "Training Civil Engineering Professionals for the Oil and Gas Sector". Then, in 2019, the proposal to continue the PEC, with the same title, was selected and became part of the current PRH 09.1. Now, in the context of the new trends mentioned above, this proposal aims to continue and expand the results of human resources training activities. (AU)
