Abstract

This project is part of the objectives of the ANP Human Resources Training Program, an initiative that arose due to the need to train professionals to respond to the new and significant technological and regulatory challenges of the Oil industry. The departments of chemical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical technology and chemistry participate in this proposal, acting in 5 specific training emphases: "Biofuels and other energy sources" (for undergraduate students of chemical engineering, industrial chemistry and chemistry bachelor's degree courses), "Transportation, Refining and Processing of Oil and Natural Gas" (for undergraduate students of the industrial chemistry course), "Fuels and Lubricants" (for undergraduate students of the industrial chemistry and chemistry bachelor's degree courses), "Chemistry in the petroleum, biofuel and alternative energy sources industries" (for graduate students of the PPGQUIM - Graduate Program in Chemistry at UFMA) and "Automation and Optimization Systems in Oil, Natural Gas and Renewable Energies" (for undergraduate students of the electrical engineering course and graduate students of the PPGEE - Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at UFMA). Therefore, this proposal seeks to contribute to the training of specialized personnel in different areas of knowledge related to the energy sector, in order to meet the demands for qualified human capital capable of dealing with the evolution process and the new challenges inherent to the energy sector.
