Abstract

PRH-ANP is an initiative of the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels dedicated to training professionals specialized in strategic themes for the development of the energy sector in Brazil. At the forefront of the energy transition, this proposal focuses its research projects on accelerating the energy transition, proposing the development of new materials for the energy sector, the study and improvement of biofuels and other renewable energies, and the application of biotechnology as an alternative to petrochemicals for the generation of clean, affordable and sustainable energy. This initiative is aligned with the most recent trends in the country's new industrial policy and is the result of joint action between three major areas of scientific knowledge. The proposal should significantly contribute to the development of sustainable and innovative technologies, with economic, environmental and social impact, leveraging the capabilities of UFABC and its research centers to face contemporary challenges in the area of ¿¿energy and materials.
