Abstract

This project will produce the first edition in the history of the journal Ciência e Cultura, created in 1949 by the SBPC, dedicated exclusively to indigenous Brazilian authors (a total of 20). In this regard, we already have the active and enthusiastic commitment of the President of CAPES, the President of the National Forum of Pro-Rectors of Research and Graduate Studies (FOPROP), as well as strategic scientific specialists from the National Secretariat for the Articulation and Promotion of Indigenous Rights (SEART), from the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples (MPI), and the Secretariat for Indigenous Health (SESAI), of the Ministry of Health. The publication will be entirely online, open and will include, in addition to articles and opinion texts, videos, podcasts and interviews. Moreover, this edition will also include the first map of the indigenous Brazilian intelectuals owning a Master and/or a PhD title. (AU)
