Abstract

To broaden the body of information available to better understand the processes involved in the differentiation of the psammophilous fauna of the dunes of the São Francisco river. In this project, we will refine the cariotypic, molecular and morphological information for a monophyletic group of 8 species of microtidae and we will obtain original data for two other pairs of species (Colubridae and Tropiduridae) from the area.
