Physics and astrophysics of neutrinos

Abstract

In this research project we analyze the phenomenological consequences of the experimental evidence of conversion of taste of neutrinos, deriving from observations of solar neutrinos, atmospheric neutrinos and those produced in nuclear accelerators and reactors. Such evidence raises countless questions about the electroweak structure of the standard Model of elementary particles which should be investigated in the light of the results of the new generation that recently became active. The investigation of these results could raise leads on Physics beyond the standard Model and test fundamental laws of nature, the mixtures and the phenomenological structure of quantum oscillations.
