Abstract
The objective of this project is the research and development of methods, techniques and programs using 3D information in Nuclear Medicine. The project envisages the testing and validation of the methods investigated and advocates the adoption of these methods in medical research and clinical practice. Specifically, the project aims: to consolidate the infrastructure of image processing; to develop methods for automatic and semi-automatic 3D quantification of cardiac; to develop methods for quantifying the movement of the left ventricle in three-dimensional space; to develop methods of tomographic reconstruction suitable for Nuclear Medicine.
