Abstract

Being considered the principles of art criticism delegated by the past and their present transformations in the field of the culture and of the art, the research that we propose seeks to discuss the current situation of the criticism of contemporary art, that is, the manifestation, places and the critical accomplishment manners, before the threat of function loss and of legitimacy of the critic. We will analyze the situation especially concerning the contemporary exhibitions in art museums, in the cultural circuit marked by the globalization. The partner-cultural meanings and the current cognitive possibilities of the critic of art will be analyzed, tends in view main axes: 1) specificity versus interdisciplinary of the critical work; 2) intern versus extern cognitive relationship between art and critic; 3) art and culture in the reality of the globalization.
