Abstract

In the proposed project a comparative study will be carry outin healthy patients, in order to evaluate the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic activity of a drug in a racemic (omeprazole) and the S-isomer (esomeprazole) form. Thus, will be evaluated the effects of single doses of 40 mg esomeprazole with the effects obtained with single and multiple doses of 40 mg of omeprazole. In order to quantify these effects, analytical methodologies as high performance liquid cromatography and potentiometry will be employed. (AU)
