Abstract

To evaluate, through a systematic review of the literature, interventions using cannabis in the treatment of the adverse effects of the chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting among cancer patients. Research will include the following electronic databases: PUBMED, EMBASE, PSYCINFO, LILACS, The Cochrane Collaboration Controlled Trials Register, and TOXIBASE. Any randomized clinical trial will be considered for this review. A preliminary bibliography search strategy could identify 11,778 articles on the subject. Any article fulfilling the inclusion criteria for this review will included in the systematic revision. Findings will be subsequently confirmed through meta-analyses. (AU)
