Hematological, serrum biochemical and immunological profile of turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) vaccinated or not against Newcastle disease

Abstract

Clinical, hematological, serum biochemical, immunological and protein electrophoresis parameters of vaccination against Newcastle disease will be investigated. Seventy-five female turkeys of one to 330day-old are going to be distributed into five different groups. G1 - vaccinated with NDV Ulster 2C strain; G2- vaccinated with NDV B1 strain; G3 - vaccinated with NDV LaSota strain; G4 - vaccinated with NDV LaSota strain and an inactive NDV vaccine and G5 - non vaccinated (control). The immune response will be evaluated by the hemagglutination inibition test (HI). Hemograms, serum uric acid, urea, GGT, AST, total proteins, albumin, globulin and protein electrophoresis will be determined of Newcastle disease vaccination or not in female turkeys. (AU)
