Ovarian histologic in stimulating ewes subject to successive sessions follicles aspiration

Abstract

The objective of this experiment is the occurrence of ovarian histological changes caused by successive procedures of follicular aspiration in sheep subjected to hormonal stimuli. Will select 18 Santa Inês breed of sheep, which are randomly distributed in three groups (G0, G1, G9 - n = 6) according to the number of sections (0, 1 and 9 replicates, respectively), and the G0 is the control group. All animals will be subjected to ovarian stimulation and follicular aspiration (for G1 end G9) will be done by video-laparoscopy, with an interval of 7 days of a procedure to another, in the group with recurrence. The oocytes recovered from each group will be counted, measured and classified morphologically then be submitted to IVM for observation of the level of nuclear and cytoplasmic maturation. For the G9 will be comparative analysis of the evaluations of oocytes collected and matured. After the last intervention in each subgroup, the ovaries will be collected by laparotomy, assessed macroscopically and subjected to histological processing, in order to verify possible scarring lesions, formation of fibrosis caused by the procedures of follicular puncture, and the slides examined by fields, describing the intensity of the process in negative (-), low occurrence (+), average occurrence (+ +) and high occurrence (+++).. Data for follicular aspiration, oocytes and analysis of histopathological data will be submitted to statistical analysis. (AU)
