Abstract

The project aims to continue the research made in the context of the Public Security Observatory Project. It is intended, by means of a compreensive data gathering in the diverse research sources, evaluate the public security policies in São Paulo State, in terms of accomplishments, difficulties and pitfals. The main objective is to map the good practices in public security in São Paulo State and freeing its access for consultation by means of a internet site about good practices, which will be devoted towards the evaluation of questions, iniciatives, debates and projects in public security. In the presente project, beside the manutention and atualization, it will be importante to send skilled researchers to cover a direct observation (by means of different techniques) in order to evaluate and create tools for standard access to good practices.
