Abstract

This project aims the updating of a micro-abrasive wear test rig (calo-wear) in order to allow the conduction of tests at constant pressure. Tests at constant pressure, and the continuity of the tests at constant force, will allow better understanding of this type of wear evaluation and, consequently, an improvement in its use for the analysis of the micro-abrasive wear behavior of materials. The activities in this project are related to the Ph.D. program of Ronaldo Câmara Cozza, who will participate in the project. (AU)
