Abstract

Panic attacks are represented by a different periods in which there is the sudden beginning of internal apprehension, fear or terror, frequently associated with feelings of imminent catastrophe, diagnosed in approximately 10% of population. The panic disorder is an anxiety crisis that is characterized by the recurrence of panic attacks: sudden illness of uneasiness and sensation of danger or imminent death, followed by diverse physical and cognitive symptoms. Individuals with panic disorder are characteriscly concerned about panic attacks implications or consequences. It is a complex clinical condition that involves different modalities or conglomerate of symptoms. Thus, the focus on the physical sensations misinterpreted in panic disorder and hypochondria, is centered basically in the autonomic manifestations, as tachycardia and dyspneia. There are few studies on physical activity and panic disorder. Initially will be selected patients registered into the Ambulatory of Anxiety of the Institute of Psychiatry of the Hospital from the Clinics from Faculty of Medicine from University of São Paulo , what they may have diagnostic initial of panic disorders. Will be submitted the different questionnaires and a ergoespirometric analysis about to assessment initial of the anxiety disorders and identification of cardiovascular risk, beyond from classification on the quirkiness of panic disorders. After accommodate the patients are determinations interchangeably in two groups about to realization from the protocols of treatment.
