Abstract

Previous studies of our laboratory developed an animal model, rats, for the study of the neonatal anoxia. Hereby we plan to explore the neuronal dynamics: neurogenesis, maturation and cell death (necrosis and apoptosis) in the rats brain by longitudinally analyzing the brain with immunehistochemical reactions using specific anti-bodies for the mentioned process at the periods of days P2, P7, P14, P21 e P60 after neonatal anoxia stimulus.
