Abstract

In this work two BEM formulations will be developed and evaluated to analyze masonry walls. The first one is formulated in linear analysis, considering anisotropy, in this type of ownership structure. The second formulation, nonlinear analysis, uses two isotropic damage models. The main points of analysis of this research are homogenization procedures for materials properties and regarding the parameters of these properties in each damage model, not yet defined for masonry.
