Abstract

The dissecation time that precedes the sowing of the commercial culture can favor the development of those plants and, consequently increase the productivity. The objective of the work will be to evaluate different dissecation times and covering types as the fertility of the soil, nutritional tenor, the initial development of the culture of the corn and the weeds control. The experiment will be carried in field, being constituted of the following treatments: three dissecation times, using glyhosate (2160 g a.e g ha-1) preceding the commercial culture that will correspond at 28, 21, 14 and 7 days, in interaction with three species of vegetable covering; Pennisetum americanum (millet) e Brachiaria brizantha cv. marandu (brachiaria) and B. ruziziensis cv. Kennedy. To the 60 days after the installation of the experiment, the variables analyzed in the corn will be the mass of dry matter of the aerial part, number of leaves, height of the plant, diameter of the stem and nutritional tenor. The rising of the weeds population will be accomplished in two moments: before the application of the herbicide glyphosate and before the crop, besides, the percentage of control of the plants infestantes will be analyzed by the herbicide glyphosate.
