Abstract

The goal of this project is to continue the study of models and methods more used for the calculation of optimal space trajectories, from th epoint of view of minimizing the fual consumption, for a tarnsfer of a spacecraft between two given orbits. Several options will be studied for the dynamics, action of the control and optimization methods. Classical methods (Hohmann transfer, bi-eliptical, etc) and modern methods (gravitational capture and swing-by will also be studied. (AU)
