Abstract

Biologically active peptides obtained from hydrolysis of macromolecules were isolated from different sources and by different authors including our laboratory, some of these peptides displayed immunostimulating activities as showed in previous work (Lebrun et al, 2004, Perpétuo et al, 2003, Lebrun, 2007).The action of these peptides (INKKI, YPVQPFTE and EMPFPKTE) and others that will be obtained after myoglobin, collagen and heavy chain of IgG hydrolysis may have important action in cellular mechanism as viability, proliferation as demonstrated in previously in macrophages. In this direction it seems to be relevant to show how peptides generate during proteolytic process could act in cellular mechanisms besides together with other known components (AU)
