Usefulness of the resting electrocardiogram and high resolution in the diagnosis of patients with isolated non-compacted myocardium

Abstract

Will be evaluated the electrocardiographic pattern of rest and high resolution in patients with non-compacted myocardium based on echocardiographic and / or cardiovascular magnetic resonance. PATIENTS: Sixty patients attending to the clinical diagnosis of cardiomyopathy with non-compacted myocardium isolated. INCLUSION CRITERIA: Will be included patients with suspected non-compacted myocardium. All cases will be submitted to magnetic resonance imaging and / or echocardiography for the diagnosis of isolated non-compacted myocardium and then to the resting electrocardiogram and high-resolution (ECGAR). EXCLUSION CRITERIA: Any other type of heart disease that may present with non-compaction of the myocardium, images unsuitable for the accurate implementation of the measures through the Eco or RMC. METHODS: Will be used magnetic resonance imaging, Doppler echocardiography, and resting electrocardiogram signal averaged electrocardiogram. (AU)
