Abstract

The study aims to compare echocardiographic data on contraction and relaxation of the ventricle and left atrium (systolic and diastolic function) of chagasic patients in indeterminate form, with electrocardiographic changes and normal systolic function by echocardiogram, and with electrocardiogram with any degree of systolic dysfunction on echocardiogram. It will be included patients with two positive serology for Chagas disease, both sexes, between 20 and 55 years old, without associated systemic diseases such as renal failure, liver disease, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, complex arrhythmia, and atrial fibrillation. People with comorbidities such as those mentioned above will be excluded. All patients will be submitted to clinical, electrocardiographic and echocardiographic evaluation. (AU)
