Abstract

Prumo is an original proposition which aims, through a dynamic of innovative work, to obtain incremental innovations in micro and small businesses (MSBs) in various sectors of the State of São Paulo economy and to create conditions for the evolution of productive processes. From time to time, it may diagnose opportunities for radical innovations that bring about changes in the technological platform in the assisted sector. The project essentially consists of a program of technological assistance at the company’s premises spread over one to three days provided by engineers and technicians by means of mobile laboratory units (MUs). The unit carries out tests, examinations and experiments, makes a diagnosis of problems and/or detects possible failings and offers solutions. In the current project, focused on the plastics transformation sector, it was also sought to identify specific technological problems in that area, not capable of being solved by the MUs. The intention was to translate them into a set of themes of common interest to a certain number of MSBs, to develop work proposals for them and identify possible support agencies for the financing of the projects drawn up.
