Abstract

This project aims to better understand the geomorphic evolution since Upper Cretaceous, in a NW-SE transect in the passive continental margino f São Paulo state, SE Brazil, from the coastline (Ilhabela) into the continental interior, crossing important features of geologic/geomorphologic aspects. Multiple low-temperature themochronometers (Apatite Fission-Track and 10Be Measurements) will be applied in order to estimate exumation/erosion rates and to perform termo-kinematic modelling, in correlation with uplift, tectonic reactivation and erosion that affected this área.
