Evaluation of the grape selections JD 874 and Sr 0501-17 grafted on different rootstocks in east and Northwest of São Paulo State

Abstract

The project aims to evaluate the performance of two hybrid of grape, obtained at the Instituto Agronômico de Campinas, grafted on different rootstocks, in eastern and northwestern state of Sao Paulo. We will evaluate the productivity, the phenology and the physiochemical characteristics of bunches and berries of each hybrid grape grafted on different rootstocks in Jundiaí and Votuporanga, SP. Two experiments will be conducted in the experimental area Centro APTA de Frutas, located in Jundiai, and two experiments in the Pólo Regional do Noroeste Paulista, located in Votuporanga, SP. In both regions studied, the treatments will be made by combining each of the hybrids 'JD 874' and 'SR 0501-17' grafted on rootstocks IAC 313 'Tropical', IAC 766 'Campinas', IAC 572 'Jales' and IAC 571-6 'Jundiaí'. In the experiment to be conducted in Jundiaí also be used rootstock 'Golia'. The experimental design is a randomized block with four replicates and six replicates in Jundiaí and Votuporanga, respectively. In each experimental area will be evaluated in two production cycles for each hybrid the variables: fresh mass of branches, stages of phenology, number of bunches per plant and yield in kg plant-1. Will also be evaluated on fresh mass, length and width of clusters, berries and stems; content of soluble solids, pH, acidity and duration of the cycle. We will make the microvinification for hybrid 'SR 0501-17', as well as chemical and sensory analysis of wines. With the data obtained in each region will be analyzed in terms of individual variances for each hybrid by region and the differences between the means of treatments will be verified by the Tukey test at 5% probability.
