Abstract
During the envisioned stay of Prof. Hilmar Forkel at the IFT, the intension is to pursue several lines of research related to the physics of QCD instantons, a field in which Prof. Forkel has been working for several years. The main focus will be on the investigation of nonperturbative aspects of the instanton-antiinstanton interaction in the QCD vacuum, with particular emphasis on a consistent account of confinement effects. In particular, the investigation of the relevance of instanton effects on hadronic structure in Coulomb gauge quark models that Prof. Krein has been working for some time, is the main motivation for the proposed visit.
