Abstract

Carbon dioxide has been utilized with the purpose to increase photossynthetic efficiency and corp production in several plant species. The present research has the purpose to evaluate the effect of CO2 on tomato plants, growing in different seasons of the year, under vinil house conditions. CO2 application will be made by irrigation at concentration of 400 ppm applied at rate of 12 L of water/minute. Four tomato cultivars adapted to vinil house growing will be utilized. Several parameters related to plant growth and fruit yield will be evaluated from planting to harvesting time (AU)
