Abstract

Professor Dr. Dario Consonni has being researching and applying issues related to epidemiology in occupational health, more specifically those related to the advanced statistical methods in epidemiology; epidemiology research principles and methods; study design, data management, statistical analysis of occupational, environmental, and clinical epidemiology studies. He is an expert in epidemiology occupational studies and has large experience in several areas of the knowledge and in different objects of research.Dr. Dario Consonni is a professor in many courses and Masters in Occupational Health and Epidemiology and he was a visiting scientist, at the Unit of Analytical Epidemiology of the International Agency for Research on Cancer in Paris.It must be pointed out that Professor Dr. Dario Consonni has accepted and co-advised our student Leila Maria Mansano Sarquis, on her doctorate field work at the Clinic of Lavoro of the University of Milan in second semester of 2005. Her doctoral advisor in Brazil is Professor Dr. Vanda Elisa Andres Felli. Also, it should be pointed out that the University of Sao Paulo holds an agreement with the Clinic of Lavoro of the University of Milan.Therefore, and still considering the special area of her expertise, we proposed the Program as Visiting Professor to Professor Dario Consonni, as showed below to promote activities for international exchange.
